Dear Parents, My name is Miss Blades and I will be your child’s 5th grade teacher this year at Ramona Elementary. This is my fifth year teaching in the Moreno Valley Unified School District. I taught 1st grade for four years and am very excited to teach 5th grade this year! I received my Bachelor's Degree and Multiple Subject Credential from California Baptist University. This year is going to be an exciting year. Your child is becoming more independent, and they will be rewarded with more responsibilities. Reading is a very important part of our curriculum. Your child should be reading 20 minutes every night. Math is also an important part of our classroom. We will be focusing on multiplication and division, fractions, and even some geometry! We will also work on being in charge of ourselves and remembering to use our manners.
